Mintlify, the AI-native knowledge platform company powering developer documentation for companies like Anthropic, Microsoft, Spotify, and Coinbase, today announced two milestones in its relationship with Amazon Web Services (AWS): Mintlify now delivers 99.999% uptime on AWS while serving more than 300 million human visitors and more than 2 billion agent visits in the last year—and Mintlify Enterprise is available in the AI Agents and Tools category of AWS Marketplace, giving enterprises a streamlined path to discover, purchase, and deploy Mintlify with simplified procurement and billing.
This launch arrives at the same time as AI agents overtake humans as the primary readers of technical documentation. For the first time on record, more than three quarters of traffic across Mintlify-powered documentation now comes from AI agents, and Mintlify expects that share to reach 90% by the end of 2026. The shift poses a significant knowledge gap for companies that aren’t prepared to have every surface of their documentation read, parsed, and acted on by AI agents.
“Documentation used to be written only for human developers. Now it’s the interface AI agents use to decide whether to recommend, integrate, or build on your product,” said Han Wang, co-founder and CEO of Mintlify. “Modern enterprise companies know they need to treat product knowledge as core infrastructure, and they want to buy it the way they buy the rest of their stack, so that their product knowledge stays accurate and discoverable for both agents and humans. AWS Marketplace enables teams to move from evaluation to deployment through a channel they already trust.”
Mintlify doesn’t just transact through AWS Marketplace—it is built on AWS. The same infrastructure that powers billions of agent visits across Mintlify-powered docs runs on AWS, enabling the reliability and scale that enterprise customers demand.
Through AWS Marketplace, Mintlify Enterprise customers get SSO, advanced security controls, custom terms, and private offers negotiated directly through AWS. Customers already in conversation with Mintlify can request a private offer and route their purchase through their AWS account.
“AI agents are fundamentally changing how software is discovered, evaluated, and adopted—and the companies building for that shift need knowledge infrastructure that can keep pace,” said Jason Bennett, VP and Global Head of Startups and Venture Capital at AWS. “Mintlify has built on AWS to reliably serve billions of agent visits with 99.999% uptime, and its availability in AWS Marketplace gives enterprise customers a faster, more streamlined path to deploy agent-ready documentation at scale.”
Mintlify’s growth on AWS has been supported by the partnership between its investor Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and the AWS Startups and Venture Capital team.
“The AWS team has built a deep partnership with a16z, not just on technology, but also on helping our portfolio companies go to market,” said Jennifer Li, partner at Andreessen Horowitz.
