Noah Medical Announces Collaboration to Advance Imaging in Robotic-Assisted Bronchoscopy

SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 27, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Noah Medical today announced that Noah’s Galaxy System is now fully compatible with GE HealthCare’s premium OEC C-arm portfolio, enabling seamless integration for image-guided, robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, marking a significant step forward in expanding access to precise, minimally invasive lung diagnostics.

The updated Galaxy II software includes compatibility with the GE HealthCare OEC 3D mobile cone-beam CT (mCBCT) system, offering advanced, high-resolution 3D and 2D imaging. In addition, the Galaxy System routinely integrates with other GE HealthCare C-arm systems, including the OEC Elite CFD, OEC 9900, and OEC 9800.

“This collaboration goes far beyond compatibility. It is rooted in a shared commitment to supporting clinicians and improving patient care,” said Jian Zhang, PhD, founder and CEO of Noah Medical. “By bringing together complementary technologies, we aim to help clinical teams navigate complex lung cancer cases with greater confidence and efficiency. Alignment with industry leaders like GE HealthCare will advance innovation and support high-quality care across the patient journey.”

This announcement follows Noah Medical’s recent milestone of over 15,000 procedures completed with the Galaxy System in the U.S., as well as the commercial launch of Galaxy II software, reflecting the system’s rapid adoption and continued innovation in early-stage lung cancer diagnosis.
